(Free/Roadside) Wingback Chair

The Story

Driving to the post office one nearly rainy afternoon my son spotted this lone wingback chair on the sidewalk nestled under an oak tree waiting to be tossed out.
We quickly turned around, did a quick once over and saw that it the arms were chewed up and the fabric had a slight pungent odor, but there was something solid beneath the surface.
We brought her home, stripped her down to the bare bones (wood) and cleaned her up. Then I rehupolstered her with a bleached and softened painters cloth. She's comfy and at home in my reading corner now. What a GREAT find!
