The Story

I love vintage ticking. My husband's grandmother sold most of the things in her home, to move into a condo, after her husband passed away. She let us choose some items that we wanted first, and one of the treasures I received was a pile of vintage pillow cases. My mother,(my seamstress), helped me transform one of them into this great pillow. The cross is made from scraps of a vintage chenille bedspread that I scored at a thrift shop in Clear Lake, IA for $4!
